Insurance Digital Revolution Announces Six New Sponsors

Industry Initiative Focused on Advancing Use of Technology to Serve Insurance Customers

NEW YORK (30 August 2016) The Insurance Digital Revolution announced today that six new sponsors have joined the initiative including Gold sponsor, The Shipyard, Silver sponsors: Ask Kodiak, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Novarica, and Safeco Insurance, and Bronze sponsor, Xanatek. The campaign now has 12 total sponsors, including a mix of carriers, technology vendors and associations.

Organized by IIABA's Agents Council for Technology (ACT), ACORD User Groups Information Exchange (AUGIE), and the PIA, IDR's mission is to accelerate adoption of digital technologies that enable insurance professionals to better serve their customers. It was created to educate and motivate independent agents, along with carriers and vendors, to access and implement the right technologies to create a seamless and positive experience for the customer.

"Our campaign is growing quickly and each day more independent agents, MGAs, carriers, and vendors are connecting with us and learning how digital tools can grow their business."

Stu Durland, Vice President of Seely & Durland and also a member of IDR's Advisory Council added, "The support from our sponsors allows us to deliver new resources that will be valuable for all insurance professionals. We already launched a Digital Toolkit on our website which provides information on the different technologies available. And in the coming weeks, we will be releasing the results of our benchmarking study, Insurance Digital Transformation Survey, which measured agents' current use of digital tools."

Sponsors of IDR receive a variety of benefits including their logo on the IDR website, early access to IDR materials including the results of the Insurance Digital Transformation Survey, and links to their corporate pages on the website. IDR is still looking to grow its community and has sponsorship available at the Gold ($5,000/year), Silver ($2,500/year) and Bronze ($1,000/year) levels. There are also opportunities for agents and individuals to sponsor the initiative at $500 and $250 levels.
